This is a Mid-Length Exhaust Header kit including hardware designed for a STOCK M113K or M113 exhaust system on the W211 and W219 platform, an already modified system may require further modification for proper fitment. The factory exhaust system is incredibly restrictive and this kit is designed to remedy that allowing the system to breathe more while still not being too loud for the neighbors. This kit is made out of high-quality 304 Stainless Steel and has 2 O2 sensor bungs. This kit does comes with headers and mid-pipes with mounting hardware, 2 gaskets to seal the new mid-pipe to the headers, and 2 graphite gaskets for the headers themselves. You are able to use the gaskets provided but it is recommended to use the OEM exhaust manifold gaskets as they are MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) and the OEM catalytic convertor gasket for the strongest and best lasting seal. You can expect HP gains of up to 20 while at the same time reducing boost levels resulting in a stronger and more efficient engine. An ECU tune is not required but is recommended to best utilize these headers. You may get a check engine light from install which can be removed by an ECU tune. Ensure upstream 02 sensors are correctly installed. This kit WILL require welding as it contains mid-pipes that replace the primary catalytic convertors, installation is recommended by professionals.
